We felt very fortunate when we learned that Sandy would be offering ballet lessons this year. At age 14, my daughter had limited prior experience in ballet but she did have the commitment required by the art and the determination to succeed. When we investigated other dance studios, we were told that she would be placed in a large class with other beginners, most of whom were half her age. With Sandy, however, she receives the personal attention which is enabling her to progress at her own rate. Sandy is such a wonderful role model; not only does she offer the finest quality instruction, but sheâs always able to relate an anecdote from her own wealth of experience to provide the encouragement my daughter needs to progress even further.

Sandy was my very first Yoga instructor. Her calm nature, soothing voice, step-by -step instructions, patience and guidance provided an encouraging learning environment for me to try something new. The entire experience has been one of personal growth. Yoga has increased my balance, flexibility and strength, not just within my body, but also within my mind and spirit. The Studio schedule allows me to opt for another night during the week, if I'm unable to attend Mary's class on Tuesdays. I also appreciate Sandy's willingness to seek out new offerings at the Studio. If you have an interest or idea, she's willing to go with it. The possibilities are endless!

I started training with Sandy in August 2005 in the first studio and shortly thereafter also began my first experience with yoga. Although first slightly intimidated by Sandy's beauty and great physical shape,my opinion of her was quickly changed...after working with her for about 1/2 hour!..Sandy is such a kind, modest, encouraging, wise soul....................I cant even begin to list all the "transformations" I have gone through in these past two and one-half years....physical, mental, emotional, spiritual......there were so many times I wanted to give up on myself, and Sandy was always there to pick me up and make me keep on going....in the new bigger studio, I have met so many wonderful people, we have such an awesome sense of "community"........I am so very proud to not only call Sandy my trainer and yoga instructor but also my very dear friend........and Studio U is not just a "gym" or "yoga studio" but a little "paradise" away from the crazy outside world we live in each day.....Thank you Sandy for providing such a wonderful place to BREATHE!

This is my second time training with Sandra over the last year. Just in my first 10 weeks with Sandra I lost 9 inches off my body!!! Sandra is very knowledgeable in her skills as a personal trainer. She is very attentive and will never let you give up on your fitness goals. I would recommend that you give yourself the pleasure of professional individualized training from a personable and dedicated trainer such as Sandra.

I started my yoga journey with Sandy about 6 yrs ago. I showed up to heal injuries. The physical changes were immediate-ease from pain and a leaner physique. The more dramatic transformation occured from the "inside out". Yoga has helped me attain balance, serenity and self acceptance...no easy task in today's world. I am so grateful (gratitude is yet another yoga benefit!) to be able to come to such an accepting-kind-peacful place-to return to my "center". "U" are simply the best! Mary Devaney
